Are we saved by reason/intellect/logic
If it is possibly for individuals to work out their own salvation with the reason and free will which God gave from the beginning then WHY was the incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection necessary? And if it is NOT possible then why do theologians increasingly over the centuries depend upon philosophy to accomplish their ends?
