Literary Discussions

How many NORMAL famous characters can you name in literature and cinema (aside from "Going My Way" and "The Sound of Music" and films of that sort.)  I am not saying there are NO normal characters but it would be interesting to try an compile a list. 

Now I suppose Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland PORTRAYED normal characters but in real life would you consider them normal? This should be an interesting exercise for Facebook, seriously, to list all the FAMOUS characters and also real people that we consider "normal" and perhaps build some definition of normal. Of course everyone is UNIQUE, so it is meaningless to speak of someone "who is like everyone else."  I wonder if we should call Archie Bunker normal?
